**Mission Critical Role**
GMV is seeking a highly skilled Operations Engineer to support our mission-critical operations for International Space Station (ISS), Artemis/Orion, and future Gateway missions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Monitor and maintain computer and network systems, as well as related services (data, voice, video)
- Execute real-time configuration changes and troubleshoot issues during operations and simulation
- Lead corrective maintenance efforts and serve as a single point of contact for Ground Segment-related issues with external agencies
- Develop, maintain, and validate operational, system, and test procedures
- Verify and test new and modified systems and interfaces, both internally and with remote sites
- Document activities, configuration changes, and anomalies (activity logs, test reports, anomaly reports, etc.)
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of specific subsystems and provide training to team members
- Define configurations and setups for forthcoming activities, in coordination with Ground Operations Planner and Columbus Control Center (Col-CC) subsystem engineers
- Identify space mission-specific ground requirements and capabilities reflected in reference documents
**Requirements:**
- Space Data Systems and/or Ground Communications Technologies expertise
- Proficiency in Standard Office applications, Linux, and/or Networking experience
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Ability to apply logical thought processes in analyzing and troubleshooting complex systems
- Ability to work under stress and prioritize multiple audio sources
- Willingness to work a 3-shift system, including nights and holidays
- Good teamworking and communication skills
- Punctuality
