Work alongside your team in the Corporate Tax Services sector to provide ongoing tax support to large corporations, medium-sized enterprises, and family-owned businesses.
Your Responsibilities
If you are eager to leverage your expertise to strategically advance the Corporate Tax Services area, here’s how you can contribute:
- Provide comprehensive tax advisory services to our clients, primarily focusing on medium-sized enterprises (both outbound and inbound).
- Your specific areas of focus will depend on your qualifications and experience, including:
- Tax structuring advice (e.g., transformations, expansions, mergers, ongoing tax optimizations, tax-efficient financing, M&A, reviews of expert opinions and statements regarding corporate tax law and international tax law).
- Tax compliance (review of tax returns, support during objection and legal proceedings, and audits, Tax Accounting).
- Act as the primary contact for your clients, ensuring the highest quality and timely handling of their matters.
- Take on the independent management of advisory projects and provide professional leadership to project teams.
- Engage in acquiring new and follow-up clients, expand your personal network, and contribute to publications and presentations at internal and external professional events on current tax topics.
- To become a (Senior) Manager (w/m/d) in Corporate Tax, you should possess a degree in business, law, or finance, ideally with a focus on taxation or tax law.
- You have successfully passed the tax advisor examination.
- You bring several years of professional experience (at least 3 years) in advising public entities, large corporations, medium-sized businesses, or family-owned companies, or in a comparable or preparatory role at a reputable auditing firm, tax consultancy, or law firm. A transition from a corporate tax advisor role in an international company or as an auditor in the tax administration is also welcome.
- Additional qualifications, such as an LL.M. in Taxation, specialist advisor in international tax law, a doctorate in tax law, and/or an international experience, are advantageous but not mandatory.
- You possess solid expertise in corporate tax law and possibly international tax law.
- You have experience in tax structuring advice and/or tax compliance and have initial project management and leadership experience.
- You are a persuasive consultant with a confident demeanor and maintain a clear focus on your objectives. Your open and clear communication complements your qualifications.
