Senior Accountant - General Ledger (m/f/d)

GeAT - Erfurt is a distinguished company in the industry, currently in search of a dedicated Senior Accountant specializing in General Ledger Accounting (m/f/d) for a full-time position, with the potential for direct permanent employment.

Your Role:

• Accurate recording of all financial transactions in accordance with HGB standards within the relevant accounts.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as per HGB guidelines, including the formulation and execution of closing entries such as provisions and deferrals.
• Management and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and cost centers to ensure a clear financial overview.
• Regularly generating reports to provide insights into the company's financial status.
• Collaborating closely with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting, as well as the controlling department.
• Ongoing enhancement of processes within general ledger accounting to boost efficiency.

Your Profile:

• Completed vocational training or a degree in business administration, finance, or a related discipline, such as a tax clerk, certified accountant, or financial accountant (m/f/d).
• Relevant experience in financial accounting, particularly in general ledger functions.
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
• Excellent command of the German language, both spoken and written.
• Organized, meticulous, and able to work independently.
• High reliability, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work well in a team.
