Human Resources Generalist

This role provides HR and recruiting expertise to assigned Business Units, performing various human resources duties in areas such as new hire orientation, talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits, payroll, and special projects. As a key contact for employees and managers, you will answer questions regarding HR and company policies and procedures, while participating in day-to-day administration, communication, and implementation of HR policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities- Reports, tracks, and processes HR data, including promotions, transfers, new hires, safety-related data, employee referrals, and employee recognition.
- Partners with the HR Business Partner team on employee relations for assigned Business Units, including conducting investigations as needed.
- Leads and assists with departmental projects, including compensation analysis and strategy, annual and ongoing benefit enrollments, performance management, promotions, and other HR initiatives.
- May participate in the administration of training programs for assigned Business Units.
- Partners with HR Business Partner team on coaching and counseling situations and employee discipline, including termination.
- Participates in compliance initiatives, including internal and external audits.
- May conduct employee training.
- Involved in Activity Committees planning of employee activities and events.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Human Resources and Recruiting required.
- Bachelor's degree required; Human Resources preferred.
- Experience working with UKG, SAP, or other HRIS systems required.
Fluency in German and English is required. French language skills are a plus. Employees holding this position will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by Management.
