Data Science Engineer

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Crafting and constructing high-efficiency, data-centric systems within a distributed framework to ascertain optimal pricing strategies for our users and service providers, thereby fostering a balanced marketplace.
- Engaging with extensive and intriguing data collections, encompassing historical, real-time, and external data feeds.
- Providing access to machine learning models and data workflows through robust and efficient APIs.
- Developing and refining solutions to some of our most critical business challenges as part of a collaborative team comprising Data and Software Engineering specialists.
- Advancing the Data Science Software infrastructure in close partnership with a diverse array of Data professionals.
- Overseeing, enhancing, and monitoring established CI/CD pipelines within our testing and production settings.
- Promoting best practices throughout the organization and nurturing an environment of growth and technical excellence.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE...
- You possess experience in training, deploying, serving, and monitoring Statistical/Machine Learning models on large-scale datasets in a production context.
- You are an effective communicator, a collaborative team member, and a dedicated learner, with a proven ability to work seamlessly with diverse teams, including those in data, technology, and product, as well as other stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data manipulation and machine learning libraries is essential.
- You have a background in developing and maintaining microservices within a production environment.
- Proficiency in English is required, as our team is diverse, with members from various backgrounds, and English serves as our primary language of communication, alongside Python.
- You are enthusiastic about leveraging data science and are eager to play a pivotal role in the evolution of urban transportation.
