About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Workplace Engineering Manager to join our team at ZEISS Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our digital workplace engineering efforts and driving innovation in our technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster Team Productivity: Lead the enhancement of team productivity by demonstrating a genuine concern for the well-being and performance of your team and teams around you.
- Endpoint Operations Engineering and Management: Oversee the engineering and management of endpoint operations to ensure seamless and efficient technology delivery.
- Technical Leadership: Combine technical proficiency with effective management to lead the pursuit of technical excellence and foster the professional growth of your team members.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and senior leadership to turn our vision into a tangible roadmap and enhance lean and agile practices.
- People Development: Hold regular 1:1s, feedback, and growth conversations to plan and support career development, including coaching and mentoring.
- Culture and Inclusion: Co-create a collaborative and inclusive culture in line with our company values.
About You
- Leadership Experience: Have working experience building and further developing teams of technical people.
- Operational Technology Expertise: Have working experience in operational technology harmonization.
- Technical Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of workplace technologies such as Citrix, Intune, SCCM, Windows, etc.
- User-Centric Mindset: Possess an end-user experience-focused mindset.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, develop, and inspire people.
- Tech Savviness: Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy.
- Corporate Operations: Deep understanding of large-scale corporate operations.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent communication skills in English.
