People and Culture Strategist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People and Culture Specialist to join our team at Hawk. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing our people-related initiatives, fostering a culture of inclusivity and excellence, and driving our business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement HR programs, policies, and initiatives that attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Assess and optimize HR processes and systems to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, ensuring a seamless employee experience.
  • Implement initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, well-being, and professional growth and development.
  • Manage payroll and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent while supporting the company's financial objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, mitigating risks and maintaining a strong ethical foundation.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in HR or People Operations roles, preferably in fast-paced startups or high-growth environments.
  • Fluency in English and German is a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools for managing HRIS, ATS, and other HR-related systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
