Freight Operations Internship

Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic Intern to contribute to our Freight Department.

Department Responsibilities: The Freight Department oversees all activities related to the transportation of freight units, including sales and marketing functions such as booking and check-in.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the freight team in various capacities, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Evaluate existing processes and propose enhancements.
  • Engage in freight-related projects, particularly focusing on digital advancements.
  • Assist in testing new digital solutions and aid in the creation of case definitions, manuals, and handbooks for these innovations.
  • Conduct market research and analysis.

Your Qualifications:

  • Proficient in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Genuine interest in logistics and transportation operations.
  • Strong understanding of digital processes.
  • Ideally, some theoretical knowledge in transport & logistics or digital services.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
