Position: Junior Systems Engineer Intern (Manufacturing)

Contract Type: Working student (20h/week) or internship (40h/week)
Location: Munich, Germany
Compensation: €12-15/hour for Working Students (20h/week), €2,250/month for Interns (40h/week)

Note: Candidates must be officially enrolled in a German university.

Your Responsibilities

As a Junior Systems Engineer Intern, you will assist our Systems Engineering team in the assembly of product components, ensuring timely installations at client locations. Your role will involve CAD design and prototyping for new applications. A solid technical foundation in mechanical engineering or mechatronics, along with hands-on experience and strong organizational skills, is essential.

Daily Tasks
  • Facilitate successful systems installations through pre-assembly of components and remote assistance.
  • Create 3D and 2D models using CAD software.
  • Engage in rapid prototyping activities, including 3D printing.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on component design, interface specifications, and product enhancements.

Technical Proficiency

  • Proficiency in AutoDesk Fusion or similar CAD modeling software.
  • Hands-on experience with hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws).

  • Effectively communicate requirements and expectations to suppliers through both written and verbal interactions.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Demonstrate persistence and focus in problem-solving.
