Post-Production Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and managing media assets, ensuring a smooth workflow in post-production.
  • Reviewing and evaluating video content for technical parameters and preparing it for further processing.
  • Coordinating material exchange within SWR and with other ARD-Rundfunkanstalten.
  • Initiating and monitoring video recordings from our studios and external sources.
  • Editing videos in the final production stage for various formats and platforms, working closely with our editorial teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completed education in media technology or media design, with relevant experience in the field.
  • Proficiency in MXF and AVC, as well as knowledge of various video codecs and formats.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and driving innovation in post-production.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or other professional editing software.
  • Flexibility, responsibility, strong communication skills, and a passion for teamwork.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
