Position Overview

If you have experience in consulting projects related to procurement and are looking to advance your career, this position is perfect for you. As a Procurement Expert, you will work closely with clients to redesign procurement organizations, develop governance structures, and implement performance measurement systems. You will be responsible for guiding clients through the implementation of new operating models and assisting in the selection of state-of-the-art IT solutions for procurement.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams and take ownership of project content
  • Analyze data, develop hypotheses, and collaborate with client teams
  • Facilitate workshops, discuss optimization strategies, and create implementation plans
  • Prepare and conduct tenders and negotiations
  • Support clients in change management and transformational approaches

Your Qualifications

  • Master's degree from a reputable university
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement consulting or in a procurement department of a leading company
  • Understanding of commodity group management, negotiations, and cost reduction
  • Knowledge of target operating models, digitalization, or sustainability in procurement
  • Fluency in German and English
