We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Specialist to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a key member of our housing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our housing services, including the management of on-post and off-post housing, as well as the coordination of temporary lodging allowance (TLA) and housing allowance (HA) for our personnel.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain accurate records of housing assignments, occupancy, and waiting lists.
- Coordinate with General Officers, Command Sergeants Major, and other key personnel to determine housing requirements.
- Review and process TLA and HA requests, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our personnel, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with local authorities and property owners to ensure compliance with housing regulations and policies.
- 2 years of creditable experience in a related field, such as property management or housing administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Language proficiency level B2 in English and C1 in German.
