Appian QA Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Appian QA Engineer to join our team at Coforge. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our Appian applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in project initiation and understand requirements to prepare and assist in test estimation.
  • Formulate test strategies and plans, allocate tasks, and monitor progress.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure test environments are set up and test data is prepared.
  • Conduct reviews and inspections of test deliverables and provide feedback to the team.
  • Execute tests, track and monitor defects to closure, and produce test metrics and reports.
  • Implement test automation using BDD frameworks like Cucumber on top of Selenium.
  • Identify potential delivery-related issues and develop mitigation plans.
  • Provide suggestions and feedback to refine testing practices and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with teams and provide support to impacted applications and systems.
  • Ensure constructive working relationships within the team and with other functional groups.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge of functional system testing and UAT.
  • Experience with Selenium and BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
  • Knowledge of API tools like Soap UI, Postman, and REST.
  • Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with test management tools like JIRA, ALM, and Confluence.
  • Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and design workload models.
