About the Role

Rivada Space Networks GmbH is seeking a highly experienced Senior Vice President of Business Information Technology to lead the development and implementation of our Business Information Technology (BIT) strategy. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for aligning BIT strategies with business objectives, driving innovation, and ensuring the security and efficiency of BIT operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • BIT Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute the organization's overall BIT strategy aligned with its business objectives.
  • ERP System Implementation: Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of the ERP system, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and timeline tracking.
  • BIT Service Delivery: Establish and manage BIT service delivery processes and standards to ensure timely and efficient support to business users.
  • BIT Systems and Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and management of BIT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure their reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Data Governance: Establish data governance frameworks and practices to ensure data integrity, privacy, and security.
  • BIT Security: Oversee the development and implementation of robust BIT security measures and risk management strategies to protect the organization's BIT assets, data, and systems.
  • Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • BIT Budgeting: Develop and manage the BIT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support BIT initiatives.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing BIT team and provide strategic direction, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably as a IT Director.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and the ability to align IT strategies with business objectives.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
  • Strategic Planning: Experience in strategic planning, digital transformation, and innovation initiatives.
  • Security and Compliance: Understanding of IT security principles, risk management, and compliance requirements.
  • Financial Management: Budgeting and financial management expertise.
  • IT Governance: Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Vendor Management: Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
  • Decision-Making: Ability to think strategically, make informed decisions, and drive organizational change.
