Key Responsibilities- Manage the holistic, integrated prototyping process at various stages, ensuring seamless collaboration with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and other involved functions.
- Plan and coordinate the design-to-build process, aligning with all involved functions and defining requirements, deliverables, and responsibilities.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve potential project blockers and conflicts between different functions, ensuring effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Manage and track project budgets, including cost optimization and resource allocation.
- Support the transition process from prototyping production to serial production, ensuring a smooth handover.
- Develop and manage team-internal and company-wide prototyping procedures, promoting innovation and best practices.
- Lead by example, encouraging out-of-the-box thinking and innovative approaches to drive project success.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in project management within a technical environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a technical environment.
- Experience working in a fast-changing project environment, such as research and development.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments, providing fast, effective, and creative solutions.
- Strong initiative, taking clear ownership of projects and demonstrating a solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Experience in a prototyping environment, with a focus on aircraft development.
- Background in the aviation industry, with knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Experience in setting up and standardizing new processes, with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
