Our Infrastructure and Support Team

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure and Support Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading a remote team, managing infrastructure, and providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a remote team of IT professionals, providing guidance and direction to ensure the successful delivery of infrastructure and support services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team structure and performance, in collaboration with the VP of IT.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily operations in the infrastructure department, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Plan and develop software and client management, as well as IT infrastructure concepts.
  • Act as a liaison between 3rd party vendors and internal stakeholders, including direct reporting to the VP of IT.
  • Provide hands-on support to the team, addressing technical challenges and ensuring the smooth operation of infrastructure services.

Requirements

  • Completed education in the IT field or a related study with several years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in team leadership, preferably with remote teams.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including network, topology, and firewall management.
  • Fundamental experience in support, monitoring, and ticket systems.
  • Proficiency in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support, software distribution, server management, storage, client installation, and Active Directory, as well as VMWare and O365.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
  • Project experience is desirable.
