Your Role

If versatility is your strength and you seek the same in your career, the role of Assistant Manager Entertainment Operations (m/f/d) at sea chefs offers you a dynamic position within the entertainment team, immersing you in the maritime world.

  • Ensure continuous staffing of entertainment roles aboard the cruise fleet, focusing on technical positions while adhering to job requirements and operational guidelines.
  • Develop and communicate schedules for the positions under your responsibility.
  • Collaborate closely with the recruitment team regarding open positions and work in tandem with manning agencies.
  • Assist in personnel marketing initiatives for the entertainment sector (both online and print).
  • Maintain and enhance the employee pool, including staff development.
  • Negotiate contracts and fees within the framework of scheduling while considering budget constraints.
  • Support briefings for entertainment roles to be filled on board.
  • Assist in planning and executing fairs and informational events.
  • Conduct regular reporting.
  • Contribute to administration and organization within the department.

Your Profile & Skills

What you bring to the table:

  • Preferably initial experience in human resources and/or crew scheduling, ideally within the cultural or theater sector.
  • Experience aboard a cruise ship and/or in the entertainment field is advantageous.
  • Strong affinity for the area you will oversee.
  • Ability to work within budgetary constraints while achieving economic objectives.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Organizational talent, independence, and the ability to motivate staff.
  • Resilience, reliability, and integrity.
  • Proficient in IT, particularly MS Office.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English, both written and spoken.
