About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Orcan Energy AG. As a key member of our CleanTech company, you will play a crucial role in the installation, repair, maintenance, and servicing of refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct refrigerant handling, including filling and draining, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform leak tests, both without and with intervention in the refrigeration circuit, to ensure system integrity.
  • Oversee refrigerant recovery and decommissioning of refrigeration systems.
  • Install, repair, maintain, and service refrigeration systems to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Perform formic gas tests and handle industrial systems containing up to 400 kg of refrigerant per unit.
Requirements
  • Completed training as a mechatronics engineer specializing in refrigeration technology, a refrigeration system master craftsman, a technician, or have a degree in refrigeration and air conditioning engineering or a related field.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in refrigeration technology or a related field.
  • Excellent German and English language skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a service-oriented, independent work approach.
  • Driver's license class B and willingness to travel.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office.
