Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Engineer at OSB AG, you will be responsible for onboarding parts from our PLM tool to Proplanner, ensuring seamless production processes.

  • Create and manage manufacturing part numbers for consumable and raw materials.
  • Develop and maintain master data for hand tools and work centers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and release MBOMs from EBOMs.
  • Design and implement efficient production routes and work instructions.
  • Review and approve drawings in PLM, ensuring manufacturing feasibility and compliance.
  • Update manufacturing data in ERP to reflect the latest design data.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with design review in NX and Team Center.
  • Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between business, engineering, and operations.
  • Problem-solving skills and analytical mindset to identify challenges and propose solutions.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work cohesively in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with GDnT and writing/ reviewing routings.
