Job Title: Quality Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at GULP – experts united. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise production areas in all quality matters.
  • Train and instruct employees on quality specifications and methods.
  • Clarify special approvals and internal tolerances.
  • Develop concepts to promote delivery quality, reduce error costs, and ensure quality standards.
  • Work closely with process engineers, Industrial Excellence, operational staff, and managers.
  • Support the start of series production and ramp-up by introducing quality management processes.
  • Check the effectiveness of implemented measures and initiate corrective measures if necessary.
  • Conduct audits and assessments and ensure the implementation of resulting improvement measures.
  • Evaluate and report data on quality performance.

Requirements:

  • Very good university degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, photonics, or industrial engineering.
  • Several years of professional experience in the relevant field.
  • Very good written and spoken English.
  • Sound knowledge of quality methods (ISO 9001, 8D, Six Sigma, LEAN).
  • Ideal auditor training.
  • Analytical thinking and structured way of working.
  • Organizational talent and assertiveness.
  • Self-confident appearance, initiative, and entrepreneurial thinking.
