Senior Project Engineer

Join our team at Stryker Leibinger GmbH & Co. KG as a Senior Project Engineer and take on a challenging role in our Advanced Operations Custom Implants Team. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our efforts in optimizing our additive manufacturing line in Freiburg.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage significant engineering projects from a lean manufacturing perspective
  • Provide technical leadership from a lean manufacturing perspective
  • Drive technology development and application within manufacturing processes
  • Closely collaborate with operations to improve machine and production performance
  • Continuously improve process performance using lean manufacturing tools
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles within manufacturing
  • Creation of work instructions and procedures
  • Development and implementation of supporting documentation and SOPs
  • Integration of new processes with MES/SAP systems
  • Support role in process validation and documentation
  • Train and mentor engineers and establish a cross-functional team driving improvement
Requirements:
  • Master degree in mechanics, industrial engineering, or similar
  • 4-7 years of experience in serial production industries (MedTech or Automotive preferable)
  • Excellent knowledge of lean manufacturing, Kaizen methodology, and 6S
  • Experience in implementing new lean solutions in mass production environments
  • Very good PC skills and English communication skills
