Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pedagogical Specialist (m/w/d) to join our team at Wirtz Medical GmbH. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to individuals with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans to promote the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children and adults with special needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support services are provided.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop strategies to address these needs.
  • Provide direct support and instruction to individuals with special needs, including behavioral interventions and adaptive techniques.
  • Document progress and outcomes, and communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and research-based interventions.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Special Education, Pedagogy, or a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with special needs, preferably in a clinical or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to special education and disability services.
