This department oversees all processes and operations within the Back Office for both regions, Risk Management, New Product Development, and the Digitalization Office, all aimed at bolstering our Trading and Origination functions.
Our ETRM solutions are crucial in driving the company's strategic objectives by facilitating business processes and engaging stakeholders comprehensively across Europe and the US. We treat these solutions as products, taking charge of their prioritization and development planning. As a Business Analyst, your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Assisting in product development and project initiatives, ensuring that our offerings align with the changing demands of our business processes and stakeholders.
- Engaging closely with stakeholders from both business and IT sectors to capture their requirements and convert them into functional specifications.
- Leading workshops and meetings to collect user requirements, distill feedback, and ensure coherence between business needs and technical solutions.
- Collaborating with development teams to produce clear and detailed documentation, including user stories, use cases, and process diagrams.
- Working alongside Product Owners and Product Managers to facilitate the scheduling of product releases.
- Participating in testing and quality assurance efforts, ensuring that product releases meet the defined specifications accurately.
- Contributing to the creation of training materials and functional user documentation, and delivering training sessions for end-users.
- Monitoring and evaluating product performance from a business perspective, identifying potential issues or bottlenecks, and recommending suitable enhancements.
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science with commendable academic achievements.
- Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the commodity trading or financial services sectors.
- A solid grasp of end-to-end business processes, including deal entry and validation, clearing, and risk management.
- Strong analytical abilities to translate intricate business requirements into clear, actionable specifications.
- Proficient problem-solving skills, enabling you to identify challenges, propose solutions, and make informed recommendations.
- Experience with business analysis tools and methodologies, such as process modeling, requirements gathering, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with Agile product development methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in German considered an advantage.
