**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at GULP – experts united. As an Environmental Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operation of our landfill and ancillary facilities, while also assisting with planning, construction, operation, and aftercare.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support the development and implementation of environmental sustainability strategies and initiatives.
  • Process and analyze environmentally relevant data to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Prepare input for annual reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and ordinances.
  • Ensure strict adherence to waste and immission control regulations, as well as official plant permit requirements.
  • Oversee the planning, procurement, and invoicing of operating materials for the landfill area.
  • Participate in the annual technology review and volume consumption scenario planning, in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Monitor and arrange maintenance work on the leachate collection system.

**Requirements**

  • Engineering studies in environmental engineering, geology, process engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of waste law and environmental law.
  • Experience with environmental engineering systems.
  • Ability to work independently and think critically.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
