Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Data Scientist in AI at Zurich Insurance Company
About the Role:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and IT representatives to develop and implement Data Science and AI use cases that drive business growth and innovation.
- Support the development and maintenance of AI models throughout their lifecycle, from data provisioning to production and beyond.
- Contribute to the further development of the AI platform, focusing on governance, policies, and methodologies that ensure responsible AI practices.
- Train and educate employees from various business departments and IT on the effective use of Data Science and AI processes, promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Potential to take on leadership roles for technical and/or disciplinary topics, driving strategic initiatives and projects.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- Several years of experience in Data Science and AI, with a proven track record of developing and implementing AI models in production.
- Strong understanding of ethical considerations in data and AI, familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as the EU AI Act.
- Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or equivalent, with a strong foundation in programming languages like Python, R, and SQL.
- Experience with DevOps and MLOps procedures, as well as practical knowledge of analytical models and AI technologies like Machine Learning and NLP.
- Familiarity with common interfaces like REST and experience in building interfaces and API services with IT departments.
- Knowledge of cloud-based platforms like Azure Data Lake II, Databricks, and Azure ML is a plus.
