Cybersecurity Advisor

Responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity Advisor (m/f/d) at beON consult, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients' digital environments. Our approach emphasizes the availability, confidentiality, and integrity of data and systems, ensuring a comprehensive security strategy against cyber threats.

• Design and implement secure IT infrastructures within complex networks, promoting a holistic approach to IT service and system security.
• Strengthen the resilience of digital environments against cyber threats, particularly in Embedded Security.
• Identify vulnerabilities and engage in proactive measures to mitigate risks.
• Deploy security solutions aimed at optimizing operational processes.
• Develop and manage access rights and identity management systems (Identity & Access Management).
• Focus on IoT security, including Risk & Compliance assessments.
• Provide guidance on cloud security and cloud computing infrastructures.
• Ensure the security of system-centric platforms, including SAP, CI/CD, and Kafka.
• Oversee application security throughout development and operational phases.
• Participate in assessments for ransomware readiness.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices, incorporating security considerations into development processes.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of Security-in-Depth strategies.
• Engage in IT security training and contribute to the documentation of processes.
• Gain insights into various compliance frameworks, data protection, and privacy through IT & Compliance Audits.

Your Qualifications

• A strong desire to explore new areas of knowledge and stay updated on current developments in IT security.
• A degree in an IT-related field, such as computer science, or a comparable qualification.
• Proficiency in authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and single sign-on.
• Initial experience with identity lifecycle management concepts is advantageous.
• Openness to challenges in areas like DevSecOps, application security testing, identity & access management, and risk & compliance.
• Knowledge of cloud security services, especially in identity and access management, platform protection, data and application security, and security operations management.
• Interest in ransomware topics and the development of readiness assessments.
• A customer-oriented mindset and enjoyment of project work in an international context.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German is a plus.
