About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in the development of our control systems, specifically the Omnivise T3000.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to agile development teams and create technical specifications for new system features.
  • Establish effective DevOps build pipelines and system deployment in different production scenarios.
  • Conduct risk assessments and evaluations to ensure information security, data protection, and compliance with related regulations.
  • Perform problem evaluation and root cause analysis of reported issues from test teams or customer projects.
  • Develop technical specifications and refine features and user stories within the agile development team.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in information technology or automation or a related field.
  • Expertise in IT automation tools like Puppet/Foreman and Ansible, and software deployment/configuration management on Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Cybersecurity skills, including network and system administration, penetration testing, hardening, malware protection, and vulnerability management.
  • Solid background in Java programming and experience with software development tools and office environments.
  • Experience in agile development processes and knowledge of distributed control systems, design, and specifications.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English.
