Role Overview:
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Hapag-Lloyd is responsible for maintaining business security and fostering customer trust by proactively managing threats and ensuring rapid recovery from cyber incidents. Our mission is to facilitate secure and efficient business operations amidst a landscape of evolving cyber threats and regulations.
Hapag-Lloyd is on the lookout for an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager with a robust background in IT and cybersecurity. This pivotal role will support the implementation of our target operating model for the Cyber Security Operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead the implementation of the target operating model for the Cyber Security Operations team. Ensure effective project execution (both traditional and agile methodologies), taking charge of interdisciplinary project management tasks while adhering to project objectives regarding timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Oversee security projects initiated or managed by the Cyber Security Operations team, including milestone definition, resource allocation, and progress monitoring to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery. Foster cross-project collaboration, establish clear objectives and metrics, and analyze data to inform decision-making and drive improvements. Develop and communicate deployment plans internally within the Cyber Security Operations team and externally with other CISO teams and third-party stakeholders. Manage Change Requests for the Cyber Security Operations team, including approval processes and project planning adjustments. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of cybersecurity principles and guidelines. Collaborate with various stakeholders within the CISO organization to ensure alignment and effective execution of project plans. Create scalable and efficient processes while providing insights to enhance cybersecurity measures. Assist in defining business requirements and roadmaps aligned with the overall CISO Strategy Framework. Drive RfI, RfP, and SoW processes in collaboration with the CISO Office & Security Transformation and Procurement IT teams to ensure project staffing by external partners.Qualifications:
Master's or bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Over 8 years of experience in managing IT projects, with at least 4 years focused on cybersecurity projects. Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar. Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CISSP, CISM are highly desirable. Strong grasp of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Experience with automation and metrics analysis is a significant advantage. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to present results in formal technical reports and deliver briefings to senior management and technical specialists. Strong soft skills including team building, conflict resolution, empathy, and creativity. Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Shipping/Transport sectors is a plus. Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.Benefits:
