We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team at Zentis. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and transportation processes.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Oversee the accurate and efficient management of inventory levels, including the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.
- Transportation Coordination: Organize and administer the pickup and delivery of goods from our German Zentis locations, working closely with suppliers, customers, and service providers.
- Accounting and Reconciliation: Ensure accurate and timely accounting and reconciliation of goods, including price verification and documentation.
- Logistics Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective logistics plans, including the management of inventory levels and transportation schedules.
- Support for Annual Inventories: Assist in the preparation and execution of annual inventory counts.
- Loading and Unloading Operations: Supervise the loading and unloading of goods at our warehouse, including the sorting and preparation of materials.
- Education: Completed vocational training as a merchant (m/w/d) for forwarding and logistics services, logistics specialist, or equivalent.
- Experience: Several years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
- Stapler Driver's License: Possession of a valid forklift operator's license is desirable.
