Electrification Solutions Innovation Team

The automotive industry is undergoing a significant transformation, driven by the shift to battery electric vehicles and the increasing importance of software, digitalization, and cloud services. To address this challenge, we are seeking a talented System-on-Chip engineer to join our Electrification Solutions Innovation team at Vitesco Technologies.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive innovation in System-on-Chip advanced electronic technology for future generations of vehicle control units.
  • Develop and implement "proof of concepts" for new electronic designs based on RISC-V or ARM instruction set architectures.
  • Provide technical guidance by analyzing requirements and technical documentation from customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with experts from other disciplines to align on technical aspects.
  • Plan and coordinate technical work packages, including measurements and technical analysis.
  • Elaborate technical analysis reports and present them to expert communities and customers.
Your Profile:
  • University degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or telecommunications.
  • Profound knowledge and long-term experience in Micro-Processor / System-on-Chip technology based on RISC as Intellectual Property (IP) and Open-Source principles.
  • Experience in μProcessor and μController Architectures.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor design and manufacturing technologies.
  • Good understanding of Functional Safety and Security concepts.
  • Fluent English language skills (written and spoken); German language skills beneficial.
  • Ability to collaborate in networks internally and externally and drive partnerships within Vitesco Technologies, suppliers, and universities.
