About the Role
Molex is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead technical projects and drive innovation in our automotive antenna development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of new automotive antenna projects from concept to series production
- Design and create 3D CAD data and standard-compliant drawings using CATIA V5
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to identify requirements and meet design, performance, and project objectives
- Coordinate activities with our Chinese production facility in Dongguan
- Implement project activities to ensure smooth product release in compliance with customer requirements and timelines
- Introduce methods and simulations to improve design and reduce risks
Requirements
- Studies in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Several years of professional experience as a mechanical engineer or automotive technology engineer
- Extensive design experience, including CAD system knowledge, finite element methodology, and tolerance analysis
- Very good communication skills in German and English
- Strong teamwork and social skills
- Willingness to travel
