About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Professor of Software Engineering to join our team at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE). As a Professor, you will be responsible for teaching and conducting research in the field of Software Engineering, with a focus on Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Software Engineering, with experience in teaching and research in the areas of Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems, and Parallel Computing. You will be expected to develop and teach courses, conduct research, and supervise students.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching and conducting research in Software Engineering, with a focus on Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems
  • Developing and teaching courses in Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, and Distributed Systems
  • Conducting research in Software Engineering, with a focus on Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems
  • Supervising students and advising on research projects
  • Participating in academic and administrative activities, including committee work and administrative tasks
Requirements
  • PhD in Software Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in teaching and research in Software Engineering, with a focus on Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems
  • Strong background in Software Engineering, with experience in Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems, and Parallel Computing
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and international environment
