About the Role
SAP is seeking a highly skilled Linux Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to users of our Garden Linux platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level technical support to users of Garden Linux, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
- Consult with users to understand their technical needs and provide guidance on the adoption of Garden Linux
- Develop and maintain high-quality documentation and knowledge base articles to support users
- Represent SAP at industry events and conferences to promote Garden Linux and build relationships with the open-source community
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Linux and cloud native applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Previous experience as a Support Engineer, Consultant, or System Administrator in an enterprise environment is a plus
- Valid Linux Foundation certifications or completion of relevant training programs is an advantage
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized applications is desired
- Experience with Debian, bash, python, and GitHub is a plus
