Senior Photonics Process Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Photonics Process Development Specialist to join our team at European Tech Recruit. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in the development and integration of cutting-edge photonics technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Process Development: Develop and qualify new or derivative silicon-based photonics processes, focusing on integrating heterogeneous epitaxy.
- Process Optimization: Define process specifications by monitoring key parameters and correlating them with device characteristics.
- Team Leadership: Lead projects and teams to optimize process integration, establish best practices, and meet device specifications.
- Technology Roadmap: Introduce new processes and technology roadmaps to support new device manufacturing platforms.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external research institutions on photonics process optimization.
- Education: Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Chemical Engineering.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics and process integration, with a deep understanding of photonics devices.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in silicon epitaxy processing, preferably in wafer fabrication for optical and photonics applications.
- Skills: Experience in in-line process integration, using methods and tools for evaluation and data processing, such as wafer parametric testing, process monitoring structures, and in-line readings to correlate process and device characteristics.
- Language: Language skills in either German and/or Chinese are highly beneficial.
