At Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to work on a master thesis project focused on developing an algorithm for in-field sharpness measurement using traffic signs. The project aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of image evaluation for automotive cameras, with a focus on traffic signs.
Responsibilities- Develop a machine learning-based algorithm for sharpness evaluation of images captured by automotive cameras
- Implement and test the algorithm using a dataset of traffic signs
- Collaborate with the research team to integrate the algorithm into a larger system for image processing and analysis
- Conduct experiments and analyze results to optimize the algorithm's performance
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision
