Junior Financial Accountant

The Accounting Team, part of the ABOUT YOU FINANCE department, is responsible for managing all financial transactions in accordance with HGB and IFRS standards. This foundational work supports both internal and external reporting. A key aspect of our operations includes financial accounting, which encompasses the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable, as well as inventory accounting. As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to the digitization and continuous enhancement of accounting processes.
In your position as Junior Accountant – Sales & Receivables (Accounts Receivable) (m/f/d), you will oversee business transactions related to accounts receivable and financial accounting, while also aiding in the refinement of the underlying processes. You will have the chance to collaborate with a young, dynamic, and international team divided into two sub-teams: B2C and B2B.
Joining the B2C Team will provide you with an exciting insight into the accounting landscape within the e-commerce sector, as you manage open items and gain exposure to online shop operations across Europe.
Conversely, if you become part of our B2B Team, you will discover that accounting in this domain is anything but mundane. From managing Influencer Hauls to Fulfillment Services and tech-related billing processes, there is always something new to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing various business transactions in accounts receivable
- Communicating with different departments, partners, and payment service providers
- Managing and clarifying open items
- Administering and processing our mailing lists
- Supporting projects aimed at optimizing accounting processes
Qualifications
- Completed training as an accountant or a comparable qualification in commercial training, such as tax clerk, industrial clerk, or office clerk
- Initial professional experience is desirable but not mandatory
- Familiarity with IT systems such as NAV18, Dynamics F&O & SAP 4HANA is advantageous
- Independent, proactive working style and strong communication skills
- Fluency in English
