Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team at Intertek. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt, inspection, and dispatch of goods and samples.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect goods and samples, verifying their quality and accuracy
- Package and dispatch goods and samples to customers and partners
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies or issues
- Provide administrative support to other departments as needed
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a Logistics Specialist (m/w/d/x) or equivalent
- Previous experience in logistics or a related field is highly desirable
- Experience with shipping goods according to ADR regulations
- Knowledge of customs regulations for international shipments
- Excellent written and verbal German language skills
- Basic English language skills
- Proficiency in computer software and systems
