The AS Abrechnungsstelle für Heil-, Hilfs- und Pflegeberufe AG is a leading company in the healthcare sector, specializing in billing and financial services. We have been in the business for over 25 years, focusing on efficient billing services for healthcare professionals.



About the Role
  • As a financial accountant, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks for our clients, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and preparing financial reports.

Your Responsibilities
  • Recording ongoing business transactions and maintaining accounts for clients of various legal forms
  • Monitoring and coordinating financial accounts, including processing invoices and meeting legal deadlines
  • Preparing balance sheets and annual financial statements
  • Handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting independently
  • Managing bank, cash, and credit card transactions
  • Generating monthly reports
  • Preparing financial statements in accordance with commercial and tax laws
  • Assisting with internal and external reporting
  • Reconciling balance sheet items and analyzing general ledger accounts
  • Preparing reports for internal and external purposes
  • Completing VAT returns

Requirements
  • Completed training as a tax clerk or a commercial apprenticeship with additional training as a financial accountant
  • Experience in financial accounting, preferably with DATEV applications
  • Ability to work independently and take on responsibility
  • Client-oriented with a collaborative mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in German
  • Familiarity with HGB accounting standards
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong numerical and IT skills
  • Analytical thinking, willingness to perform, flexibility, and teamwork
  • High level of commitment and communication skills
