Your Role:
- Drive our Backend Engineering initiatives focused on three core components:
- A dashboard for energy management that assists our B2B clients in optimizing load peaks, purchasing directly from renewable sources, and managing their energy assets.
- An AI-driven procurement optimization tool that regularly balances energy accounts by predicting supply and demand.
- Software for energy trading that facilitates the entire process from purchasing and selling energy to integrating with other market software and managing customer billing.
- Develop and enhance machine learning algorithms with high-quality datasets to support our energy trading software and analytics dashboard, collaborating closely with data scientists (primarily using Python).
- Oversee our backend services centered on our energy data architecture and processing capabilities (utilizing Python and PostgreSQL).
- Build and maintain a robust DevOps infrastructure (primarily using Terraform, AWS, and Docker).
- Promote test-driven development, ensuring numerical precision through extensive test coverage and data quality management.
- Lead the design, improvement, and optimization of our software architecture to ensure scalability, efficiency, and maintainability.
- Backend: Python, Typescript
