Information Security Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Manager to join our team at the Bundesverwaltungsamt. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement IT security strategies and policies to protect our IT assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, IT architecture, project management, and data protection
- Provide expert advice and guidance to our technical teams on IT security best practices
- Work with external partners and vendors to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and industry partners
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, mathematics, or a related field
- Proven experience in IT security, software development, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, regulations, and standards, including IT-Grundschutz and Standard-Datenschutzmodell
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
