Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead AI/Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and refining our machine learning strategy, leading a high-performing team of data scientists and engineers, and overseeing the end-to-end development of machine learning algorithms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine our machine learning strategy to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing machine learning team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Oversee the development of machine learning algorithms, ensuring scalability, robustness, and accuracy in real-world healthcare settings.
  • Establish best practices for data collection, annotation, and storage to ensure data quality, privacy, and security.
  • Collaborate with clinical experts and regulatory stakeholders to validate the efficacy and safety of machine learning algorithms in clinical trials and real-world healthcare environments.
Requirements
  • PhD in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or master's degree with extensive relevant experience).
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading machine learning teams in industry or academia.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in recruiting, mentoring, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in Python and the machine learning tech stack (such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.).
  • Track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals or conferences related to machine learning, healthcare informatics, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
