Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Mobile SDK Engineer for Android, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our SDKs, ensuring seamless integration with the Smaato network. This involves connecting our SDKs via APIs to the backend, facilitating data transfer, and managing advertisement requests within mobile applications. Our commitment is to provide an exceptional user experience, high reliability, and minimal resource consumption.
Your Role Includes:
- Implementing enhancements to our Android SDK in alignment with the Scrum methodology
- Integrating innovative advertising formats, such as native in-app video ads, to maximize revenue opportunities
- Creating sample applications for our partners to aid in integration and testing of new ad formats
- Developing internal tools for Smaato to evaluate the SDK's performance
- Keeping abreast of the latest trends in Android SDK development to ensure compatibility with new mobile devices
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Over 5 years of experience in developing and deploying Android applications, with a minimum of 3 years focused on Android SDK development
- Proficient in Java, Kotlin, and Jenkins
- Experienced in Test-Driven Development methodologies
- Familiarity with iOS SDK development is a plus
- Knowledge of UIAutomator/Espresso and Gradle is advantageous, as well as experience in developing plugins for gaming platforms like Unity
- Experience in the AdTech sector and Agile work environments is beneficial
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
