Assistant Store Manager Position

Job Summary:

The Assistant Store Manager is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong leader to drive sales, enhance customer experience, and coordinate store operations. This position oversees business processes, opens and closes the store, and ensures smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Sales Management and Analysis: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop strategies to drive sales growth.
  • OMNI-Channel Sales Processing: Process sales transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Store Presentation and Sales Floor Supervision: Maintain a visually appealing store environment, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and restocked.
  • Store and Inventory Operations: Manage store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and develop a team of sales associates, providing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Employee Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with store staff, management, and corporate teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Loss Prevention and Security: Implement and maintain loss prevention and security measures to protect company assets.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, diversity and inclusion awareness, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, team player, self-motivated, results-driven, and ability to multitask.
  • Experience: Supervisory experience in a retail environment, with a strong understanding of fashion and merchandising.
