As a Locomotive Operator, you will be responsible for the independent operation of locomotives, both manually and via remote control. Your key duties will include:

• Executing train journeys with precision
• Sorting and managing trains and wagon groups at various facilities, including stations and container terminals
• Conducting essential brake tests for both train and shunting operations
• Performing thorough inspections of trains

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A completed training program in rail operations or an equivalent qualification as a locomotive driver
• Authorization to operate diesel and electric locomotives, as well as remotely controlled shunting locomotives
• A valid driver's license for railway vehicles, along with a solid understanding of railway operations and the transport of hazardous materials
• Certification as a brake test conductor and wagon inspector
• Compliance with operational fitness standards as per railway safety regulations
• A valid driver's license
• Proficiency in the German language
• Familiarity with IT systems
