**Job Description**

We are seeking a Service Specialist for Building Automation in Real Estate Management to join our team in the region of East Germany, including our historic site in Jena and our future high-tech location in Jena.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Ensure the functionality and availability of technical systems, as well as the operation and monitoring of external service providers in the field of building automation and measurement, control, and regulation technology (MSR).
  • Continuously develop and improve building automation systems and operational processes in the field.
  • Develop and implement performance catalogs and service agreements for external service providers.
  • Monitor the operational performance and execute planning and consulting services for service projects, as well as participate in site service or change control projects.
  • Develop and maintain service and maintenance contracts with external service providers.
  • Prepare and develop technical concepts and specifications.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and accept the services of external service providers, as well as establish cross-site networking with experts in similar fields and provide support to all sites in technical matters.

**Requirements**

  • Completed relevant vocational training, such as in building technology, supply technology, or energy technology (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning technology).
  • Professional experience in the building operation of a technologically demanding industrial company.
  • Experience in managing external FM service providers and planning and conceiving systems/services.
  • Basic knowledge of creating performance specifications, tenders, and procurement.
  • Good knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as VDMA, AMEV, PrüfVO, and Betriebssicherheitsverordnung.
