We - MT Aerospace - are a prominent player in the OHB Space and Technology Group. As a distinguished international aerospace enterprise, we engage in the development, manufacturing, and testing of critical components for launcher initiatives, including Ariane, the Space Launch System (SLS), and various commercial launch systems, as well as the Airbus fleet, spacecraft, satellites, and defense applications. Our unique manufacturing technologies enable us to produce high-performance products crafted from metal and fiber composites, including substantial load-bearing structures and cryotanks, lightweight frameworks, and fuel and pressure tanks that optimize performance while minimizing weight.
Our expertise in additive manufacturing, CFRP, and hydrogen mobility positions us as a preferred partner beyond the aerospace sector. We currently employ approximately 600 individuals at our headquarters in Augsburg and at the launch site in Kourou (French Guiana).
Your Responsibilities
- Centralized oversight of engineering, production development, quality assurance, and manufacturing departments.
- Preparation and facilitation of regular meetings with clients concerning development, production, and configuration management.
- Assistance with documentation and configuration management.
- Representation of the project department in construction deviation committees and steering committees.
- Involvement in proposals and requests for quotations.
- Support for the purchasing department in managing subcontractors and sub-suppliers (ordering strategy).
- Preparation of internal and external reports and project dashboards.
- Representation of MT Aerospace in collaborative working groups.
- Assistance with DTC activities and claims management.
Your Qualifications
- Degree in engineering (TU/FH) with a focus on mechanical engineering, preferably aerospace engineering.
- Experience in managing large and complex project teams.
- Familiarity with standard project management processes.
- Demonstrated system-oriented thinking and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Basic knowledge of French is advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, Teamcenter, and SAP.
