Key Responsibilities:

As a finance specialist at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, you will play a crucial role in monitoring the company's profitability. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Managing cash flows, budgets, and forecasts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Providing financial advice to different business units to inform strategic decisions.
  • Coordinating with accounts receivable and operational areas to optimize financial performance.
  • Conducting credit checks and assessments for customers to mitigate financial risk.
  • Approving shipment requests and setting credit limits to ensure timely and efficient operations.
  • Monitoring credit limit overruns and handling insolvencies and bad debts to minimize financial losses.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Completed commercial training and experience in accounting and credit risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Independent and IT-savvy with proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Fluency in German and English to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.
