Your Role
  • Trading Responsibilities: You will oversee (renewable) energy trading activities in the intraday and spot markets.
  • Process Management: You will handle our Day Ahead and Intraday trading processes.
  • Strategy Oversight: You will be responsible for steering and monitoring trading strategies.
  • Optimization Tasks: You will optimize and market power plants and flexibilities on electricity and gas exchanges.
  • Scheduling Duties: You will manage EWE's electricity schedules and gas nominations.
  • Shift Work: You will be part of a 24/7 shift team, which includes working weekends and nights.
Your Qualifications
  • You possess a strong academic background in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in the energy sector, particularly in renewable trading, is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in programming, especially Python, is essential for data analysis and visualization.
  • You have a robust commercial mindset.
  • Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken, is required.
  • You are capable of working independently and thrive in a 24/7 team environment.
  • Physical presence in Bremen is necessary for this role.
