Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team at Nexontis Consulting. As a Backend Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop server-side applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and NestJS
  • Optimize backend performance, ensure security and data integrity, and troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of commercial experience in web development
  • Strong skills with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and NestJS
  • Experience with popular public cloud services (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with relational databases and ORMs
  • Familiarity with Docker
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Jest and other testing libraries
  • SAP Cloud Platform (SAP BTP), Cloud Foundry, K8S
  • Knowledge of OData
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines setup
  • Knowledge of Design Patterns and Best Practices
