Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Support Officer Domestic Guarantees to join our team at Societe Generale. As a key member of our credit support team, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate support to our clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare annual credit reviews for overdrafts, guarantees, cash pooling, and credit card facilities in collaboration with cash management sales managers.
  • Manage loan securities and collateral, ensuring up-to-date information and collecting required securities from clients and/or PCRU.
  • Handle credit facility confirmation letters, including fee confirmation, and ensure a version countersigned by the client is received back.
  • Regularly review SEPA direct debit limits and obtain PCRU approval if required.
  • Maintain all credit/risk-related data in our database system, PDMS.
  • Issue local guarantees and serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries related to these guarantees and charges.
  • Collaborate with front officers to manage insolvency cases.
  • Support in meeting regulatory obligations and contribute to the permanent supervision process.
Requirements
  • University degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of financial products and services, with a focus on cash management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in guarantee processing, credit support teams, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in German is a must, English (written and oral) is essential, and French is an advantage.
  • Solution-oriented and flexible working style, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
